Professional experience

My career in human resources began in the mid 2000’s in Australia. I’ve worked in HR across several sectors and industries, including not-for-profit, public sector, outsourcing, FMCG, manufacturing, and financial services. I’ve held senior positions over that time in roles that have had local, across APAC, and global reach.

I moved to New Zealand in 2009 initially landing in Christchurch, before moving up to Auckland in 2015, continuing my career in large, multi-national corporations. I now enjoy the variety that being a consultant brings, helping businesses to solve problems and achieve their goals.

I have a broad generalist HR background with particular expertise in change management, leadership development, culture, championing inclusion and diversity, reward and recognition, employment relations, and introducing new ways of working with the ability to bring cohesion to the direction of any strategic approach.

My breadth of experience has helped me to develop an exceptional ability to support leaders to build high performing teams and workplaces, quickly understand workplace dynamics, and introduce positive people solutions. I’ll work alongside you to define and deliver on business aligned people priorities, and pride myself on being able to balance the human element with commercial objectives.  

Education

I’m a certified Change Management Practitioner and have completed an Executive Leadership Program through Hult Ashridge Executive Education & Lane4 Management Consulting (now EY Lane4). I’m currently undertaking my Masters Degree in Applied Business, specialising in Advanced HR.

On a personal note

I have a young son, and we love to get out and take in the beauty of our area in Muriwai Beach. I enjoy going to the gym, mountain biking, squash, and am a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur. I also enjoy the satisfaction I get from seeing DIY projects on my home and garden come to life.

I’ve travelled to many parts of the world for both work and pleasure, and am excited about planning where the next adventure may take me!
