Professional experience
Since the early 2000s I’ve worked as a specialist HR and recruitment practitioner in Auckland, Wellington, London, and Dublin. As a ‘career contractor’ for much of this time I’ve established experience in a multitude of industries, including public, private, and not-for-profit organisations.
My HR expertise spans recruitment, employment relations, restructure and change, policy development, manager coaching, through to exiting employees and everything in between. I’ve also led teams of my own so have first-hand knowledge and understanding of leading people.
With skills in project management, strategic and operational delivery, and process efficiency I have an interest in employment legislation and an ambition to support businesses succeed through their people.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Business Studies with a double major in Human Resource Management & Communication Management from Massey University, Wellington, graduating as a Scholar (graduated in the top 5% of the Business School throughout NZ).
On a personal note
I live in beautiful Papamoa Beach with my partner and daughter, and previously spent many years living in Auckland, Wellington, and New Plymouth. My time abroad in London, Ireland, and Cyprus is where my love for travel flourished. Having travelled to over 40 countries, I still seek out any travel that I can. I love the beach, camping, playing most sports, as well as attending live games. Recently I’ve got into surfing and SUP, with varying results!
